I’m hosting a Cuppa to support people living with dementia.
Every dollar raised helps make a difference to the 446,500 Australians living with dementia, and the families and friends who support them every day.
Help me reach my fundraising goal so together we can help ensure that no one faces dementia alone.
Your donation could help Dementia Australia:
- Provide free, confidential support through the National Dementia Helpline, available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
- Deliver trusted dementia information and resources, including translations in multiple languages.
- Expand our network of Memory Lane Cafés, where people living with dementia can connect, share experiences and enjoy meaningful moments together.
- Fund vital research to improve care and work towards future breakthroughs.
Pop the kettle on. Let’s show up for dementia together.

Friday 14th AugFor Mum, and for a Future Without Dementia
There are some moments in life that divide everything into before and after. For our family, Mum’s diagnosis of dementia was one of those moments.
Dementia is more than a diagnosis. It changes families. It changes relationships, memories, independence and the way you experience the person you love. It is heartbreaking to watch someone who has spent a lifetime creating memories slowly lose pieces of those memories.
But Mum is so much more than her diagnosis. She is our mum, our family, our memories and someone we love deeply. And that is why I am fundraising in her honour.
I’m raising money to support dementia research because we need more answers, more treatment options and, ultimately, a cure.
There are so many families living through the reality of dementia, and yet there is still so much we don’t understand. We need research that can help us detect dementia earlier, slow or stop its progression, improve quality of life and, one day, prevent this devastating disease altogether.
I fundraise for Mum because I want to believe that the next generation of families won’t have to experience what ours is experiencing.
Every donation, no matter how big or small, helps support the fight against dementia. And if you can’t donate, sharing our fundraising page can be just as valuable in helping spread awareness.
This is for Mum.
For the memories she has given us.
For the moments we still have together.
And for every family who deserves the chance to grow old without dementia taking away the people they love.

For Pauline - and all those and their families living through this insidious disease Go Emmy!!!
