Join Barossa Park Lodge for our 'Cuppa Time for Dementia' to raise funds for people living with dementia.
Barossa Park Lodge is taking part in Cuppa Time for Dementia to raise funds for Dementia Australia to support more than 433,300 Australians living with dementia right now, including more than 10,000 Tasmanians.
Dementia is the leading cause of death among women in Australia. And overall it comes in at number 2. That's why we need to do something now. Let's help create a Dementia-Friendly Future for tomorrow, and help people impacted by dementia today.
Your donation goes straight to Dementia Australia. It will help them:
-Provide a 24 hour support line
-Offer counselling services for families affected by dementia
-Create and provide important information about dementia
-Help people plan their next steps after a diagnosis
-Fund much needed research into prevention, treatments, and a cure.

We are also pleased to invite you to join us on Thursday 30th October at 2pm, for afternoon tea with guest speaker Geriatrician and dementia expert, Dr Jane Tolman. Dr Jane will present a talk on the different stages of dementia, and share her years of insights into dementia care. Please RSVP to BarossaPark@onecare.org.au
