I'm taking part in Cuppa Time for Dementia to raise funds that support more than 410,000 Australians living with this condition right now.

Dementia is the leading cause of death among women in Australia. And overall it comes in at number 2. That's why we need to do something now.

- Offer counselling services

Hi Maree - I saw your fundraiser through Kate. My granny had dementia, and it was absolutely devastating to lose her that way. It felt like I mourned her 100 different times in 100 different ways over the years, even before she passed, as we would lose little bits of her every day. She passed away last year, and the grief sits with me daily. Such a terrible, terrible disease, and I’m sorry you’ve had to go through it with your mum. Thank you for organising this fundraiser! There’s not enough money in research, or support (including support for families)… You are a real gem!
