I'm taking part in Cuppa Time for Dementia to raise funds that support Dementia Australia

110 days ago my dad lost his battle with Lewy Body Dementia. 
When I close my eyes I can still see the last smile he gave me days before he passed. 
The glint in his eyes as he recognised my face. The lift in the corners of his mouth as he smiled. As I remember this  my breath gets sharp, my eyes sting and I remind myself it is ok to be sad. 
Dementia has changed my family forever. You don't realise how it can until its too late. Dementia doesn't care if you are young, or old, male or female, ready or not. 
When it does come, to have Dementia Australia there to answer the unknown or provide tools and tricks to help you understand what exactly is going on with your loved one is so important.
The research they do the resources they provide and care they take is vital. So to have the opportunity to help support them - I'm going to take it. I ask you to help too. 
I'm doing it for my dad and as I do I see his smiling face.
